Homeless Kids Need Shelter in the WinterWe are starting our list in the San Diego area and moving out across the country. One of the fastest methods of discovering if we have a listing for your area -  is to use the Search function, for your city.

If you have information on a shelter in your area, we would love for you to send it to us. Please include the address, type of shelter, contact information (phone, email), and a paragraph or two describing the shelter and its facilities. WINTER SHELTERS in San Diego County 2010

 

The following is a list of shelters which will be open for the Winter needs of San Diego County. Be sure to call ahead and make sure that the shelter is actually open (some loose funding before or during their existance), and to get a feel for the possibility of a bed.

San Diego is not known for its cold winters, however, that doesn't mean that the winter chills San Diego does experience are not deadly. If you feel you need shelter, seek it out.

Check the map at the bottom of the list. It is set to list a tag for any place that might be a shelter for the homeless. New shelters may open, before editors on Eddiecat are aware of them so,  The map might show you places not on this list.
